“Truly God loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure” (QS 61:4)
Building the Arrays
I’ve been encountering too many people preaching this ayah in the way that they want. Through my own experience there three point of views that I would like to adhere here
1. Don’t ever try to attract people to your “group” or so called whatever in the event of your own personal benefit, such as getting votes and followers.
Remember, as we go through the phases of dakwah, we always need to remember and be cautious that the only sole reason that Rasullullah sallahu ‘alaihi wassalam teach Islam is because it is part of his duty to God and only to Him we preach for. Always check your balance, in the end of the day, what are you trying to achieve? God’s acknowledgement or other than that?
2. Although the ayah above did mention that Allah’s love Mu’min who put an effort towards Allah’s cause, we need to understand that the array couldn’t be achieve in a single second nor the Muslim nowadays are able to put their self indulgence above their Religion needs. And, achieving the solid arrays never to be the main purpose, yet we need to understand that in order to built the place where Islam is not being justified by others, where Allah being the only God above others, we need to put all our effort to gather and make people understand Islam better in control manner. So in the end, the purpose of the first phrase in the above ayah’s is achieved. To make people strive in His cause.
3. We as a Muslim need to at least do two things, first do not break away from the Muslim Community, and second don’t even try to put others to wrestle, physically or even mentally. Try to get where the point that we could be agreed together, unless it is really fundamental, and I believe you could do it harmlessly. Don’t go to the point that you need to brawl with each other. Always remember, the one that always the best to God is the one with Taqwa. And only God knows who have it.
Strive for Islam. Cleanse for God.
